Dwight Neuenschwander Sr., former district superintendent of New Zealand, passed away 28 March at the age of 86 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA.

Neuenschwander was appointed D.S. in 1980, thus becoming a member of the Nazarene Theological College–Brisbane Board of Trustees. During his superintendency, two new initiatives were introduced: decentralised ministerial education and a district loan program to fund land purchases and construction of churches. In 1985, Neuenschwander accepted the invitation to become D.S. of Nebraska in the U.S., retiring from that role in 1996 after 11 years. On 30 April 1996, Neuenschwander was given a Distinguished Service Award by the Omaha Southwest Church of the Nazarene.

Dwight is survived by his wife, Eula Mae (Stipe) Neuenschwander. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce "Evonne" Neuenschwander, who served as professor of music at Nazarene Bible College.

A memorial service was held at Bethany First Church of the Nazarene in Oklahoma City.

The Cameroon flag is a vertical tricolor of green, red and yellow, defaced with a five-pointed star in its center. The center stripe is thought to stand for unity: red is the colour of unity, and the star is referred to as "the star of unity." The yellow stands for the sun and also the savannas in the northern part of the country, while the green is for the forests in the southern part of Cameroon.
