Nazarene Compassionate Ministries is responding following Typhoon Mangkhut, the most intense storm so far this year. Philippine Nazarene College sustained serious flooding and assessment is currently underway at other Nazarene schools and churches in the area.

Nazarene Pastor Wynne Lankford believes his Chesterfield County, Virginia, church is not only a place of worship but also a center for the community. As Virginians attempt to recover from the recent Charlottesville violence, Lankford said the feeling in their part of Virginia is “tense” with a “racial divide.”
As a result of global Nazarenes’ generosity at the 2017 General Assembly, more than US$100,000 will be donated to Nazarene Compassionate Ministries for refugee support
